Hello there. Let me tell you about myself. I am a registered nurse on a cardiac unit at my towns hospital. Been there about 9 years total. I like being a nurse, I get to help people and make a difference in their lives. Also I’m a Captain in the Army Reserve. This is a part time job, usually only one weekend a month, 2 months in the summer. I have never been married and have no children, though I would like to do both when I meet the right women. I exercise and jog to keep in shape but they haven't asked me to be on the cover of any men’s magazines yet. As for hobbies, reading is probably my favorite hobby. I always have a book or two that I am reading. My favorite subject to read is history or nonfiction. Do read fiction to, when I feel like I have had to much reality. I'm really into cultural things. I love the opera, theater such as Shakespeare or Broadway and going to museums. In the winter time I like to go snow skiing. I like to rent or buy DVD's and watch them at home. I listen to just about all forms of music, depending on my mood. Classical, rap, country, pop and rock. Let me tell you a little bit about my personality. I am probably one of the most serious men you will ever meet. I tend to be very laid back, rational in most situations. But, it also means I’m down to earth and logical to. I have a dry, sarcastic somewhat sharp sense of humor. At work I'm the unit comedian, always have a funny comment, or quick comeback. I always do what I say. I do not smoke, do drugs and only drink once in awhile. I'm very mature, some people have described me as a "old soul". I'm a very kind hearted and compassionate man. One reason why I went into the medical field. One thing people always compliment me on is my manners. I always try to be polite to people, even if they are being rude to me. I have my own house, lived here about six years. I have a young golden retriever named Griff as my roommate. I am very serious in my intentions to find a good woman for marriage.
